UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
All Beginning Band students are required to purchase a band t-shirt.  The Beginning Band uniform consists of the band t-shirt, black pants, black belt, black long socks and all black shoes.  All of these items must be purchased by the student. 
The band does not provide any part of the uniform.

All Symphonic & Concert Band members are required to rent a concert uniform from the band for $20. 
This fee covers usage for the year, alterations if needed and 1 cleaning at the end of the year.

Boys:  School Provides
Black Tux Shirt, Tux Pants, Black Bow Tie  ~~~~  Student Provides - Long Black Socks, Black Dress Shoes

Girls:  School Provides
Black Concert Dress  ~~~~  Student Provides - Black Dress Shoe - No open toe shoes

All Band students are required to have a band t-shirt. Band t-shirts will be worn for all field trips.
Band t-shirts may be worn as a uniform shirt any day of the week.  Mr. McElwain reserves Thursday for official band t-shirt day at school.

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band uniform is the same as the Symphonic uniform for most performances. Jazz Band polo shirts are for periodic performances.  Mr. McElwain will inform students when they are to wear the polo shirt instead of the formal tux shirt.  The Jazz polo shirt will  always be worn with the black tux pants, long black dress socks and black dress shoes.  Jazz Band polo shirts can also be worn as a uniform shirt any day of the week.
However, they must stay bright white for performances.  Jazz polo shirts are $10.
